GAJAR KA HALWA
Ingredients:
  • Carrots (grated)                     :   1 kg
  • Sugar                                       :   ½ cup
  • Milk                                         :   1 litre
  • Milkmaid                                 :   200 gms
  • Fresh cream                             :   ½ cup
  • Ghee (clarifiedButter)              :    2tblsp
  • Cashewnuts                             :    20 to 25
  • Almonds                                  :    10
  • Khishmis (Raisins)                   :    1/4th cup
  • Pistas                                       :    8 to 10
  • Elaichi powder (Cardamon powder) : ½ tsp
Method:
  • In a Cooker….add Grated Carrots, Sugar, ½ cup water. Pressure cook for 2 whistles. Switch of the gas.  When the cooker cools down remove the lid
  • Now add Milk Maid, Fresh Cream, Elaichi powder, pista, Almonds, Cashewnuts & Raisins.  Cook for 2 mins.
  • Remove Gajar ka Halwa in a bowl and Garnish it with cashewnuts.
