MASALA DOSA

Ingredients:
  • Urad Dal (Black gram)             :   1 cup
  • Rice                                          :   2 cups
  • Besan (Bengal gram flour )      :   3/4th  cup
  • Fenugreek seeds                       :   2 tsp
  • Jeera (Cumin)                          :    1 tsp
Method:
  • Mix all the above ingredients , wash and soak them in water for 7 hours or soak overnight.
  • Remove water from the soaked ingredients and wet grind it into a smooth batter
  • Let this batter ferment for atleast 8 hours.
  • Mix this batter well, add salt, 1 tsp sugar
  • Take a non stick Pan and place a ladle (spoonful of the batter on the Non stick pan) spread the batter smoothly and evenly on the non stick pan with the help of a small steel bowl (by using back of the steel bowl)
  • Take 1 tblsp full of the potato curry and spread it on the Dosa evenly
  • When the dosa is cooked on one side. Drizzle some oil on the dosa (you can also use Butter ) and roll the dosa.
  • Masala dosa is ready to serve !!!!!
