MASALA DOSA
Ingredients:
- Urad Dal (Black gram) : 1 cup
- Rice : 2 cups
- Besan (Bengal gram flour ) : 3/4th cup
- Fenugreek
seeds : 2 tsp
- Jeera
(Cumin) : 1 tsp
Method:
- Mix
all the above ingredients , wash and soak them in water for 7 hours or
soak overnight.
- Remove
water from the soaked ingredients and wet grind it into a smooth batter
- Let
this batter ferment for atleast 8 hours.
- Mix
this batter well, add salt, 1 tsp sugar
- Take
a non stick Pan and place a ladle (spoonful of the batter on the Non stick
pan) spread the batter smoothly and evenly on the non stick pan with the
help of a small steel bowl (by using back of the steel bowl)
- Take
1 tblsp full of the potato curry and spread it on the Dosa evenly
- When
the dosa is cooked on one side. Drizzle some oil on the dosa (you can also use Butter ) and roll the
dosa.
- Masala
dosa is ready to serve !!!!!
