PAV BHAJI
Ingredients:
- Potatoes : 2
- Cauliflower : 250 gms
- Carrot : 1
- Beans : 100 gms
- Shimla Mirch (Capscicum) : 1
- Green Peas : 1 cup
- Ginger : 1 inch piece
- Garlic : 10 to 15 cloves
- Green Chillies : 6
- Onions : 3 finely chopped
- Tomatoes : 4
finely chopped
- Haldi (Turmeric) : 1 tsp
- Red Chilli Powder : 1 tsp
- Everest Paav Bhaji Masala : 2 tsp
- Garam Masala : 1 tsp
- Dhania Jeera Powder : 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Paav
- Butter
- Coriander
Method:
- In
a cooker – add all vegetables – Potatoes, Cauliflower, Carrot, Beans,
Shimla Mirch (Capscicum), Green Peas.
Add 3 cups of water, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp haldi (Turmeric). Pressure
cook for 4 whistles. After the cooker cools down, strain water from the cooked
vegetables. Keep the water (Vegetable stalk aside). Mash all the vegetables with a masher.
- In
a Pan take 4 tsp oil . Add Ginger-Garlic-Green chillies paste, Onions,
Tomatoes, Turmeric, Red Chilli powder, Dhania Jeera Powder, Chaat Masala,
Garam Masala, Pav Bhaji Masala, Salt.
- Mix
well and add Butter and Coriander
- Heat a Flat Nonstick Pan. Cut the Pav into halves. Put 1 tsp
of Butter on the Pan. Place Pav on
the Pan and heat it till it becomes golden brown.
- Pav
Bhaji’s Bhaji is ready.
- Serve Bhaji with Pav, finely chopped onions and 2 pieces of Lemon.
