Potato Curry for Masala

Ingredients:
- Potatoes : 8 (Boiled, Peeled & Cubed)
- Onions
: 4 (cut Lengthwise – Long)
- Lemon
: 1 (Lemon Juice)
- Tomatoes : 2
Finely chopped
- Curry Leaves
: 8 to 10
- Ginger :
1 inch (crushed)
- Corriander :
1/4th cup
- Turmeric (Haldi)
: 1 Tsp
- Green chillies
: 3 to 4 finely chopped
- Dry Red chillies :
2
- Mustard seeds :
1 tsp
- Urad dal :
1 tsp
- Chana dal :
2 tsp
- Cumin seeds :
1 tsp
- Cashew nuts :
15 to 20
- Salt to taste
- Oil :
3 tblsp
Method:
- In
a pan – take 3 tsp oil. When the
oil becomes hot add 2 Red chillies . Then add Chana Dal….Fry for 2 mins.
when it turns golden brown…add urad dal.
- Add
Mustard seeds, Cumin seeds,Heeng, crushed ginger, green chillies – fry for
2 mins. Then add Cashew nuts. Fry for 2 mins till it turns slightly brown
in colour.
- Add
Onions – Mix it well and add salt as per your taste & Turmeric (Haldi).
- Now
add boiled & cubed potatoes. Mix well.
Cover the pan & cook for 5 mins. After 5 mins, remove the lid –
add 1 tsp Lemon juice.
- Garnish
with coriander & our Potato
Curry for Masala Dosa is ready to serve !!!
